DOW LDPE 494A resin, is a high strength, general purpose resin used for shipping sack, industrial liner and produce film applications. DOW LDPE 494A resin can be blended with most linear low density polyethylene resins to enhance bubble stability. It contains medium levels of antiblock additive. It complies with U.S.FDA regulation 21 CFR 177.1520(c) 2.1 for food contact applications.
