Description: Polystyrene 145D is a high flow, general purpose polystyrene. PS 145D offers exceptional processing characteristics for thing walled parts, multi-cavity tools, and complex designs. It is best suited for both injection molding and extrusion. If used unmodified and under appropriate processing conditions PS 145D conforms with FDA Title 21 CFR Section 177.1640 regarding the use of polystyrene in food contact articles. USP Class VI Listed.Application: Include thin walled containers, audio and video cassette packaging, vials, jars and cutlery. It is ideally suited for blending with HIPS, clear SBS block copolymers, or other applications where low odor and taste are critical.
