GrafTech GRAFIHX® RXS Series Flexible Graphite Heat Transfer Plates

GRAFIHX® RXS Series are heat transfer plates for radiant heating applications made from high thermal conductivity flexible graphite. They are available in rolls and sheets as a replacement for traditional aluminum plates. They can be laminated with plastics, adhesives, or metal foils optimized for a specific application. Their features: 50% higher thermal conductivity and 30% lighter weight than traditional aluminum plates; conformable - easily stapled; cuts easily with scissors; and safe - no hard/sharp edges. Their benefits: energy efficient - enables reduced water temperatures for a given room temperature; enables low temperature heat sources such as solar thermal, geothermal, and condensing boilers; and easy installation - reduced labor costs and installation times. RXS Series are used in staple-up applications; panel applications are in development.
