Description: Curon 13 S is a spinel based castable with a very low silica content and therefore it is suitable for direct contact with all kinds of aluminum/alloys and fluxes in aluminum melting/holding furnaces and ladles. Due to its unique raw materials, Curon 13 S contains two hydraulic binders and therefore will remain very strong, even at high temperature. Curon 13 S is therefore worldwide used in the aluminum and cement industry.Remarks: These values apply to cast products. Also available in gunning variety, marked "GM".Information provided by Gouda Vuurvast.
