Material Notes:
A soft, black, specialty thermoplastic vulcanizate (TPV) in the thermoplastic elastomer (TPE) family. This material combines good fluid resistance and physical properties that meet ASTM F 477 for low head pipe seal applications and complies with EN 681-2:2000. This grade of Santoprene TPV is shear-dependent and can be processed on conventional thermoplastics equipment for injection molding or extrusion. It is polyolefin based and completely recyclable.Recommended for applications requiring excellent flex fatigue resistanceRecommended for applications requiring excellent ozone resistanceGood resistance to compression set.Information provided by Advanced Elastomer Systems
