Material Notes:
Westlake Elevate™ EB502 resin is a fractional melt index 12.5% VA ethylene vinyl acetate copolymer designed for flexible packaging and other films that require excellent toughness and good heat sealing characteristics. This resin has excellent low temperature brittleness properties, melt strength, and flexibility. This resin grade complies with 21 CFR 177.1350. Melt temperatures of 360° F – 390° F are recommended. Test specimens for blown film: nominal thickness 2.0 mils; blow up ratio 2.5:1; die gap 35 mils.
