Trelleborg AEM Syntac® 351 Syntactic Foam

Syntac® 351 is a castable syntactic composite material of epoxy resin and high performance hollow glass microspheres designed specifically for molding thermoforming plugs and other associated tooling.Supplied pre-blended, Syntac® 351 is prepared by a simple process of warming, deairing, casting, curing and post curing -- with no weighing or mixing involved. On curing it is a rigid, high strength material that exhibits the same properties as shapes machined from Syntac® 350, the corresponding material supplied by Trelleborg CRP in block, sheet and rod form.All information provided by Trelleborg Emerson & Cuming
