Stable in normal use dilutions in the presence of up 40 ppm chlorine. Stable in acidic, neutral and mildly alkaline solutions.Compatibility: Compatible with most types of non-ionic, cationic, betaines and ampholytes. Incompatible with anionics.Applications: Glokill PQ 60 is a non foaming and non-wetting biocide for use as algaecide in swimming polls & cooling water applications. It is a long lasting, non-volatile product that does not smell and is not corrosive to water systems. In swimming pool applications Glokill PQ 60 is compatible with commonly used bactericides and is effective against most forms of algae. Rhodia is supporting the active ingredient in Glokill PQ 60 towards Annex 1 listing under the BDP (98/8/EC) as an algaecide for Product Type 2 : Private area and public health area disinfectants and other biocidal products and Product Type 11 : Preservatives for liquid cooling & processing systems.Information provided by Rhodia, Rhodia has been acquired by Solvay.
