ApplicationsALATHON L 5440 is designed for high shear machines. It exhibits excellent color, low odor and excellent processing stability. Typical applications include general purpose, household chemicals, industrial chemicals, detergent, and motor oil bottles. L 5440 containing antistat is available as L 5440AS. Regulatory StatusL 5440 meets the requirements of Food and Drug Administration regulation, 21 CFR 177.1520. This regulation allows the use of this olefin polymer in "…articles or components of articles intended for use in contact with food." Specific limitations or conditions of use may apply.
