LyondellBasell Ultrathene® UE635000 Ethylene Vinyl Acetate Copolymer, Extrusion Coating Grade

ULTRATHENE UE635000 is an ethylene vinyl acetate copolymer recommended for extrusion coatings on cellophane, polypropylene and polyester. UE635000 is also used in special coextruded substrate coating applications, yielding improved heat stability for snack food packaging.Regulatory Status: UE635000 is sanctioned by Food and Drug Administration regulation Federal 21 CFR 177.1350 and 21 CFR 175.105. These regulations (respectively) allow for the use of this material as articles or components of articles which are "...intended for use in producing, manufacturing, packing, processing, preparing, treating, packaging, transporting or holding food..." and as an adhesive which "...may be safely used as components of articles intended for use in packaging, transporting or holding food."
