Universal Wire Works 6Al-4V (AMS 4954) Titanium Alloy Filler Metal

Universal 6Al-4V titanium alloy is often repaired with the gas tungsten arc or gas metal arc welding process, provided adequate inert gas shielding of the filler wire and deposited weld metal is provided. As with all titanium alloys the affinity of hot weld metal for oxygen, nitrogen and hydrogen is high.
