Material Notes:
SARAN® 516 barrier polymer, a copolymer of vinylidene chloride and vinyl chloride, designed for sheet coextrusion and forming into rigid plastic barrier containers for food applications. It is supplied as a white free flowing powder (particle size 240-320 microns). It offers excellent oxygen barrier, unaffected by humidity and complies with the requirements of FDA for use as a component of articles in contact with food.Data provided by Dow Chemical.
