It will not corrode steel or nonferrous bearing materials.Texaco Miltex EP is formulated to:Protect bearings and other metal surfaces from corrosion when exposed to wet conditions.Resist water — Strongly resists being washed out of bearings.Retain consistency under adverse service conditions.Provide outstanding film strength and adhesive properties.Operate effectively over a wide temperature range.Texaco Miltex EP is recommended for use in heavy duty industrial equipment including manufacturing and steel mill operations.Typical test data are average values only. Minor variations which do not affect product performance are to be expected in normal manufacturing.Notes:Minimum operating temperature is the lowest temperature at which a grease, already in place, could be expected to provide lubrication. Most greases cannot be pumped at these minimum temperatures.Maximum operating temperature is the highest temperature at which the grease could be used with frequent (daily) relubrication.
