Eastman 18DOA Polyethylene  (discontinued **)

Polyethylene 18DOA is a low density formulation suggested for the production of closures where a high melt index material is needed to meet shrinkage requirements and fast molding cycles. It molds with unusual ease and is suggested for large, thin-walled items where stress-crack resistance is not a primary requirement. Polyethylene 18DOA can be used as a base for color concentrates. This formula complies with FDA regulations at 21 CFR177.1520 (c)(2.2) for use in articles for packing and holding food during cooking.
