Material Notes:

This grade is a special molding grade consisting of spherical polystyrene beads containing pentane as expansion agent, typically used as expansion agent, typically used as pre-expanded beads in the production of cellular bricks.Applications: This grade is used to produce cellular bricks from a mixture of pre-expanded beads with clay, which are subsequently fired in a kiln at ca. 1000°C.This grade should not be used for food contact applications.Information provided by NOVA Chemicals.
