Special steam resistant, Fluoroelastomer Rubber, 80-90 °IRHD. Tetrapolymer of vinylidene fluoride, hexafluoropropylene and tetrafluoroethylene and cure site monomer (CSM). To meet ASTM D2000 line call-out: MHK814, A1-10, B37, B38, EF31, EO78, Z1. Where Z1 = hardness 80-90. ASTM designation = FKM. ISO designation = FPM.Applications: Alcohol blended fuel systems (methanol or gasohol), SF/SG engine oils, phosphate ester fluids, acids, hot water and steam. Chemical resistance superior to other FKM’s.
