Minelco MagniF Magnetite

Minelco develops and markets magnetite, a natural iron oxide (Fe3O4) with unique properties and potential. MagniF is the brand name for specially developed magnetite grades to be used as filler for polymers and rubbers.MagniF is a very pure and environmentally friendly material that due to its high density (5.1) is very well suited for making high density compounds (in Polypropylene for example densities up to 3 can be reached). Furthermore, magnetite is conductive (both thermally and electrically), heatable by microwaves and ferrimagnetic.MagniF is applied in high density applications like sound dampening, stabilization and gaining in "quality-feel". Its high thermal conductivity leads to significant cycle reduction by decreasing cooling times. Its electrical conductivity supports ESD applications.
