P51 offers excellent fire retardancy; it meets the requirements of Class I/A Building Code Classification. P51 is available in a large range of standard and custom colors. Smoke Generation: 57 Ds @ 4.0 min; ASTM E662.Processing: This compound should be processed using rigid PVC extrusion equipment under standard PVC operating conditions. Barrel temperatures in an extruder should be set at 166-171°C and adapter and die temperatures should be 171-177°C. Screw RPMs of 23 to 33 are typical. Typically single screw extruders are used for pelletized material and conical twin screw extruders for powder.
