Texaco Miltex EP delivers value through:Good water resistance — Strong resistance to wash out of bearingsGood rust and corrosion protection, even in wet conditionsExtreme pressure protectionProtection against shock loading, thus extending bearing lifeGood high temperature stability to continuous operating temperatures of 250°FTexaco Miltex EP is a water resistant, extreme pressure grease designed for use in heavy duty industrial equipment, such as steel mill operations.It is manufactured using highly refined, select high viscosity index base oils, a lithium soap, and a specifically selected additive package containing extreme pressure additives as well as corrosion and rust inhibitors. It will not corrode steel or nonferrous bearing materials.Texaco Miltex EP is formulated to:Protect bearings and other metal surfaces from corrosion when exposed to wet conditions.Resist water — Strongly resists being washed out of bearings.Retain consistency under adverse service conditions.Provide outstanding film strength and adhesive properties.Operate effectively over a wide temperature range.Texaco Miltex EP is recommended for use in heavy duty industrial equipment including manufacturing and steel mill operations.Typical test data are average values only. Minor variations which do not affect product performance are to be expected in normal manufacturing.Notes:Minimum operating temperature is the lowest temperature at which a grease, already in place, could be expected to provide lubrication. Most greases cannot be pumped at these minimum temperatures.Maximum operating temperature is the highest temperature at which the grease could be used with frequent (daily) relubrication.
