During the modification with POM CG, antimicrobial substances are included in the basic polyoxymethylene polymer, which provide an effective and long lasting solution against unwanted growth of micro-organisms, such as algae, bacteria and fungi. The antimicrobial effect remains during the entire life time of the product.
