Material Notes:
Stood® 12 is a high carbon, chromium, tungsten, cobalt-base centrifugally cast alloy designed to have intermediate properties between Stood 1 and Stood 6. Being a compromise between Alloys 1 and 6, it has intermediate wear resistance. With minor modifications, Stood 12 can be manufactured to conform to MIL-C-24248 (ship), Composition II.Recommended for twist rolls, shaft sleeves, bushings, glider knives.Information provided by Deloro Stellite Inc.Product of former Deloro Stellite Inc.
