Rex 95 combines high red hardness, moderate abrasion resistance, and good toughness. This grade is frequently used for more severe cutting applications than M2, such as machining stainless steels. Rex 95 makes an outstanding tool bit for general purpose applications.Rex AAA is only supplied as tool bits, already heat treated to about HRC 64/66.Information provided by Crucible Industries
