This Material Specification applies to heavy plates from 3 to 15 mm in thickness made of the high-strength armour steel SECURE 200 (ThyssenKrupp armour steel) with a minimum hardness of 200 HBW and a minimum tensile strength of 690 MPa for civil use.Application: The steels may be used for the manufacturing of devices suitable for the saving of valuables, e.g. automatic tellers and safes.Properties are typical of 12.5 mm plate thickness.Information Provided by Thyssen Krupp
