Premix Thermoplastics PREADD AS 133

PREADD AS 133 is a polyethylene based antistatic masterbatch developed for polyolefines. The active additive in PREADD AS 133 is an amide giving a good antistatic effect already at low dosing levels and at a low humidity. As all migrating antistatic additives PREADD AS 133 may affect the printing, heat sealing and bonding of the film.The addition level should be tested prior to its use with the polymer used in order to reach the desired antistatic effect. The antistatic effect is dependent on time, humidity and the thickness of the product.PREADD AS 133 is approved for use in contact with foodstuffs according to FDA and BgVV regulations, as long the dosing level of PREADD AS 133 is less than 10.0%.Information provided by Premix Thermoplastics Inc.
