Lubrizol Advanced Materials Disperbond® D31S Thermoplastic Polyurethane  (discontinued **)

Disperbond® originates from a new Merquinsa proprietary technology that produces linear, aromatic thermoplastic polyurethanes in pellet form. These TPUs can be dissolved in acetone. In a further stage, and through an emulsification process, an aromatic, aqueous TPU dispersion can be obtained. The aqueous TPU dispersions are especially developed for use as raw material in the manufacture of adhesives.These aqueous TPU dispersions based on Disperbond® are found in the production of adhesives used in the automotive industry - automotive interior parts like dashboards and door panels; in the furniture industry (e.g. lamination of MDF/plastics); and in the footwear industry, such as in sole bonding.
