GBC 496 Alumino Silicate Ceramic

Propriety composition with CTE equivalent to Pyrex® glass. Can seal directly to 7070 glass, Pyrex®, or other grades of silicon. Has excellent thermal shock resistance, low firing temperature, and low shrinkage compared with similar ceramics.Applications: 496 is a fine-grained spray-dried powder that can be pressed into intricate shapes.Machinability lower tool wear than comparable ceramics resulting in lower production costs.
