Material Notes:

SARAN® 313 barrier polymer, a copolymer of vinylidene chloride and vinyl chloride, is designed for extrusion and coextrusion into barrier films used in flexible packaging applications for food. It is a fully formulated product, ready for extrusion without additional formulants, supplied as a white free flowing powder (particle size 200-260 microns). It offers good oxygen barrier, excellent moisture barrier and complies with requirements of FDA for use as a component of articles in contact with food.Data provided by Dow Chemical.
