Material Notes:
This alloy is most often used for welding UNS S20910 base metal. This alloy is nitrogen-strengthened austenite stainless steel exhibiting high strength and good toughness over a wide range of temperatures. Deposited weld metal is not subject to carbide precipitation due to the Nitrogen alloying, which inhibits carbide precipitation in the weld zone.Information provided by Universal Wire Works for their line of welding wire and filler metal.
