Material Notes:
FINACENE® BM359 SG has been especially designed for the manufacture of blow moulded bottles (up to 5 liters) with a superior surface gloss and contact transparency. It is recommended either in mono-layer applications for flexible bottles (e.g. squeeze-able bottles) or in co-extrusion with FINATHENE® BM593 for rigid bottles. Typical applications are, both in mono and in co-extrusion, differentiated bottles for personal care products and aggressive liquids (e.g. detergents,…).FINACENE® BM359 SG, a metallocene resin, has a very specific molecular structure that yields superior optical properties as well as an excellent processability. It can be processed easily on conventional equipment both in mono and in co-extrusion. The use of FINACENE® BM359 SG along with FINATHENE BM593 (a bimodal HDPE, based on hexene as co-monomer) in co-extrusion offers an attractive mean to maximize the compromise between easy processability, stress crack resistance, bottle rigidity and superior surface gloss.Total Petrochemicals includes former Fina and Atofina plastics product lines.
