Solvay Specialty Polymers Algoflon® L105 Polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE)

Algoflon® L105 a white PTFE micronized powder produced from dispersion polymerization comprising loose agglomerates of sub-micron sized primary particles. Algoflon® L105 can be de-agglomerated to sub-micron particle size by the application of shear providing a better dispersion and distribution of the PTFE particles in the application. Designed for use in critical engineering and high end performance polymers and elastomers to improve wear resistance and low coefficient of friction and improve abrasion and tear resistance.
