Material Notes:
ROVENE® 4151 is a carboxylated styrene-butadiene emulsion that has a soft, resilient hand with above average strength properties. It may be compounded with a wide variety of fillers and additives for specific application requirements. This self-crosslinking binder that utilizes a NMA (formaldehyde derivative) monomer, to build molecular weight during curing conditions. ROVENE® 4151imparts good water and solvent resistance, good tensile strength, and has good adhesion to a wide variety of fibers.APPLICATIONS: ROVENE® 4151 is recommended for nonwoven and textile applications that require a self-crosslinking latex. Common applications would be the backcoating of upholstery, a binder for non-woven, and a low crock pigment
binder.Information provided by Mallard Creek Polymers
