HomopolymerApplications: Biaxially oriented film.Formolene 5102KR is a highly isotactic polypropylene homopolymer designed primarily for cast film applications such as slit tape fabric stock and cordage. It contains a unique combination of stabilizers which give it low water carry over as well as excellent melt stability.Meets all requirements of the U.S. Food and Drug Administration as specified in 21 CFR 177.1520, covering safe use of polyolefin articles intended for direct food contact.Specimens were injection molded according to the conditions specified in ASTM D4101.Information provided by Formosa Plastics Corporation, USA.
