Material Notes:
E6838-923F is a low density formulation with medium slip and medium antiblock. It is suggested for film applications that require heat-sealing treated-to-treated film surfaces and where good clarity is important. Common applications include bread bags, fresh produce bags, and convertor film requiring printability. As supplied by Eastman Chemical, Polyethylene E6838-923F may lawfully be used in food-contact applications under the FDA regulations at 21 CFR177.1520 (c)(2.2). An additive in this formulation limits the use of E6838-923F to nonalcoholic foods, and the average thickness of such polymers in the form in which they contact food shall not exceed 0.0050 inch. Users must make their own determination that their use of this product is safe, legal, and technically suitable for their intended applications.CO2 permeability 200 cc-mm/m²-24h-atm (506 cc-mil/100in²-24h-atm).
