DuPont™ Oasis® Polyimide/Fluoropolymer Composite Film

Oasis® composite film is heat sealable and is made using DuPont polyimide film and Teflon® fluoropolymer. Excellent electrical, thermal, mechanical, and chemical resistance properties. Used for printed circuit processing and installation. Exceptional toughness and resistance to cut-through make this useful as insulation for aerospace and communications wire and cable, where it can be pulled through tight routing.General Kapton® information: Kapton® is synthesized by polymerizing an aromatic dianhydride with an aromatic diamine. It has excellent chemical resistance; there are no known organic solvents for the film. It does not melt. It can be used at both high and low temperature extremes.
