Material Notes:
PBT resin is polymerized by pure terephthalic acid (PTA) and 1,4-butanediol (1,4-BDO) through direct esterification. With well-distributed molecular weight and stable quality, PBT resin possesses good chemical resistance, abrasive resistance, low friction factor and extremely low hygroscopicity, as well as good electrical, thermal and mechanical properties and processability. Primary applications include brushes (in blends with PET); color masterbatches, extrusion into sheets or films; optical cable, and after reinforcement and modification, the products can be widely used in more fields as electronics and electricity, automobiles, communication, IT, lighting, household appliances, commercial machines, machinery and other industries.CAS No: 30965-26-5 or 26062-94-2Information provided by Polymer Technology and Services, LLC (PTS).
