C9 fraction redistillated (RC9) is a distillation cut of pyrolysis gasoline, produced as a by-product during manufacture of ethylene. It is a transparent, colourless to yellowish liquid with prevailing content of aromatic hydrocarbons. RC9 is classified according to EC Directives as a hazardous substance.
