Material Notes:
Tylac® 812 is a surfactant stabilized styrene-butadiene copolymer latex. Features: When used in properly designed hydraulic-cement mixtures, the addition of TYLAC® 812 results in
grouts, mortars, and concretes that exhibit: improved adhesion to most substances, improved water resistance, increased flexural strength, increased abrasion resistance, increased resistance to freezing and thawing, reduced water-cement ratios, reduced odor. Storage and handling: Protect from freezing. Ideal storage temperature is 22°C (72°F). Stability at 22°C (72°F) is 180 days when properly stored. Read the Tylac® 812 Material Safety Data Sheet before handling, storing, or using this product.APPLICATIONS: Suggested as a polymer modifier for hydraulic cement mixtures, grouts, or tile mortar adhesives. Addition of 5 to 15% (d/d Portland cement) improves flexibility, strength and water resistance.Information provided by Mallard Creek Polymers
