Mallard Creek Polymers ROVENE® 5005 SBR Latex

ROVENE® 5005 is a carboxylated styrene-butadiene emulsion that has a very soft hand and neither contains nor evolves formaldehyde during cure. This paper saturant offers good water and solvent resistance which may be further improved by formulating with external crosslinkers. It gives good adhesion to cellulosic substrates and was designed to have excellent pad roll stability for paper saturation.APPLICATIONS: ROVENE® 5005 is recommended for paper saturation applications that require a soft and strong saturant. Its ability to be crosslinked with external crosslinkers has been found to be helpful where high solvent and water resistance is required.
