Lucite International Elvacite ® 4400 Acrylic Resin

Elvacite® 4400 is a solid methacrylate copolymer bead resin designed for use in formulating thermosetting powder coating systems for exceptionally durable films. The resin may be used as the main binder in acrylic systems, or blended with other resins to form hybrid systems such as polyester-acrylics, epoxy acrylics or acrylic-urethane hybrids. For other cross-linked coatings Elvacite® 4400 can be formulated with blocked isocyanate or amino resins. Elvacite® 4400 can also be used to formulate low VOC, solvent borne 2-component polyurethane coatings or stoving systems when cross-linked with amino resins.Information provided by Lucite International
