Solvay MACKAMINE® C-8 Surfactant

Product Description: Mackamine C-8 is a pure octyldimethylamine oxide that provides good wetting and very low foaming characteristics. It is compatible with most surfactants and because there are no amide or ester groups in its chemical structure, Mackamine C-8 will not hydrolyze in acid systems. It is also stable in highly alkaline and strong electrolyte systems. Mackamine C-8 is useful in industrial cleaners as a detergent/hydrotrope.
