PREADD AB 172 is a PE-LD based antiblock masterbatch developed for polyethylene films over 35µm in thickness.The addition of PREADD AB 172 gives following advantages to films:Increased heat conductivity accelerates the cooling of the film. This can lead to capacity increases especially in cases where the natural cooling is insufficient.Antiblocking effect is achieved already at low addition levels.Color change in the extruder takes place faster because of the purging effect. Printability is improved.Heat sealing time and temperature can be lowered.Shrinking time of shrink films can be shortened especially when shrinking is done by infrared radiation.
