Lucite® 4F is used as a dental resin and for casting and embedment. It is a fine particle size resin. End products have outstanding UV resistance, Excellent weatherability, superior abrasion resistance, excellent resistance to water, alcohol, dilute acids and bases, chemical fumes, and corrosive/oxidizing environments, high gloss and hardness, water-white color and transparency, and resistance to discoloration when heated. Lucite® resins are available as minute spherical beads, water-white only (no tints) and transparent. Thermally stable to 230°C. At higher temperatures (260°C and above), they undergo smooth depolymerization to monomers, leaving negligible ash.Data provided by the manufacturer.
