Material Notes:

A two-component modified phenolic ablative coating and adhesive. This material was developed for the U.S. Navy to protect the decks and launchings systems on ships from the extremely high heats (up to 5000Â°F) and gas velocities (up to Mach 3.0) present during the launching of a missile.
