Product Description: Laser+® HS (D59A) polyethylene terephthalate (PET) resin is designed for conversion to PET packaging by injection stretch blow-molding using commercial heat-set technology.Typical Properties: Laser+® HS (D59A) is a low DEG moderate IPA copolymer designed for processes requiring faster crystallization rates, higher glass transition and melting points, but balancing injection molding cycle speed and superior container appearance. Laser+® HS (D59A) also provides good flow properties and melt strength with an excellent operating window. It can be used for one- and two-stage ISBM and thermoforming applications.Certification: Laser+® HS (D59A) is ideally suited for food packaging applications and is considered in compliance with the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) Food Contact Notification (FCN) 000635, covering PET polymers.Information provided by DAK Americas
