Material Notes:

IH57 is a high-density polyethylene, narrow molecular weight butene-1 copolymer produced by the solution process for injection molding applications. It offers high stress cracking resistance with processing and stiffness balance. It contains antioxidant additives. This resin was especially developed for injection molding of linerless bottle caps. IH57 grade is indicated for injection molding under processing conditions comparable to high-density polyethylene with a similar melt flow index and density. Recommended temperature profile: 170 to 230ºC.
