Material Notes:
WESTLAKE Hifor Clear Polyethylene SC74580 polymer is a high strength and high clarity linear low density polyethylene designed for blown film extrusion that contains no slip and no antiblock. It does contain processing aid. Blown films produced with this resin exhibit good toughness, with exceptional gloss and clarity for a product of this density, yet film blocking is substantially lower than one might expect. Film stiffness is also higher than one might expect for this density. It works well in many shrink film applications. Contact Westlake for further information on the regulatory status.Application/UsesFrozen food filmsHigh clarity bread bagsIce bagsFDA: This material complies with FDA regulations in 21 CFR, section 177.1520.
