Universal Wire Works ER308L Stainless Steel Bare Wire

The composition of this alloy is the same as ER308, except for the carbon content. Low (0.03% maximum) carbon in this filler metal reduces the possibility of intergranular carbide precipitation and thereby, increases the resistance to intergranular corrosion without the use of stabilizers such as columbium or titanium. ER308L is not as strong at elevated temperatures as the columbium-stabilized alloys or the standard ER308H.
