Description: LACQRENE® 1070 is a very high molecular weight polystyrene used in extrusion. It is particularly designed for the production of foam sheet, where the very high molecular weight gives a high level of mechanical properties. This grade is also used in the production of OPS sheet and film. Along with a low level of volatile material and excellent optical properties, the very high molecular weight gives: A high viscosity which gives stable output at the die during direct gassing. Good mechanical properties which gives strength to both crystal sheet and direct gassed sheet. ApplicationClamshells for fast food, Meat trays, Insulation board, OPS sheet, Shower screensInformation provided provided by Total Petrochemicals.Total Petrochemicals includes former Fina and Atofina plastics product lines.
