Product Description: Mackstat DM is a 55% active solution of DMDM Hydantoin, a very effective broad spectrum antimicrobial for cosmetic and personal care products. Due to its high water solubility, Mackstat DM is compatible with most aqueous cosmetic formulations. Unlike many other preservatives, elevated temperatures are not required to incorporate Mackstat DM. It is stable over a wide range of pH and temperature conditions. A very cost-effective preservative that works well alone or can be easily combined with other preservatives to provide enhanced antifungal activity.
