Silberline EternaBrite® Premier 251-DL

EternaBrite® Premier "DL" pigments are leafing aluminum pigment pastes carried in a glycol. These grades are based on cornflake geometry and offer enhanced leafing properties flexographic and gravure inks for stronger metallic effects. Although EternaBrite® Premier "DL" pigments can be used in aqueous inks and in two pack UV inks they are not treated to protect against reaction in either type of system. Special care must be taken to evaluate the stability of each grade in the final ink formulation. High or excessive shear during ink production can initiate the aluminum-water reaction. Care must be taken to avoid excessive or high shear during processing when used in ink formulations containing water.Applications: Printing Inks
